Best Drinkware and Travel Cups from Amazon

We always joke that my family is a “cup family” because we all have 2-3 cups of different drinks going at any given time. I don’t drink alcohol, but I typically switch between water, an iced chai, a protein shake, and a flavored water throughout the day, so I go through a lot of different cups. At this point, all of my cups are from Amazon, so I’ve rounded up my favorites that are worth the price, high-quality, easy to clean, and aesthetically pleasing while also being very functional.

the best amazon drinking glasses

glassware

Drinking Glasses with Bamboo Lids and Glass Straw (16oz, set of 4) - You’ve probably seen these all over Instagram, but they really are worth the hype. They look luxe yet are cheap and lightweight, but also don’t break or chip easily. While I prefer to not travel with glass too often, I like that they can fit in my car cupholder and I’ll take my iced coffee in this to my hair appointment for a more grown-up feel than a neon tumbler. A set of 4 is less than $16, so this is a fun upgrade you can make to your kitchen without breaking your budget.

Ribbed Drinking Glasses with Bamboo Lids (16oz, set of 8) - I prefer these over the sleek version I linked above when it comes to entertaining or having people over, because the ribbed texture makes them easier and more comfortable to hold onto. These are also thicker and more sturdier, and the lid really seals in. They also come in a set of 12 that mixes 12oz and 7oz sizes if you want more variety.

11oz Stackable Coffee Mug Set - As much as I want to be that person who collects coffee mugs and has a large, eccentric collection… I am just not that person because I don’t like how much space they take up. While there are stands that can help hang coffee mugs for more compact storage, I find them to still be bulky and they also collect a lot of dust. I like that this set is compact, all matches, and easy to “set and forget” at the coffee station. Four mugs are plenty for me right now, but I think it’d be fun to get the checkered set later on for a mix-and-match vibe that doesn’t feel overwhelming or cluttered.

24oz Large Handle Coffee Mugs - Once I started making my own iced chais at home, I realized that still have to heat the almond milk first. I like a big iced chai (always ordered the venti) and needed to find an extra-large coffee mug so I wouldn’t have to heat the almond milk multiple times a day. These 24oz mugs are big yet lightweight, and the handle is well-made. Other mugs I ordered were too bulky or didn’t hold heat, so I feel like I really hit the jackpot when I found these.

water bottles and travel cups

Owala Freesip 32oz Water Bottle and Stanley 30oz Flowstate Quencher Tumbler - Yes, I’m linking both because I do use both. I’ve done a full post comparing each bottle in case you only want one. You really don’t need both, but because I bought both for the comparison, I’ve learned how to make both work for me. The Owala is great for iced water and convenient to use all day long, especially if you’re in the car or on the go. While it doesn’t fit in a cup holder, the way they’ve designed the straw prevents spills and any mold buildup. I like the Stanley for adding flavor to my water when I’m staying home. While it does fit in a cup holder, it’s too bulky, more prone to spills, and just feels like a hassle to take with me to run errands. If I’m working at my desk, the 30oz is the perfect amount of water for a couple hours, it keeps your drink cool, and doesn’t take up as much space as something like a HydroFlask.

Simple Modern Insulated Tumbler with Lid and Straw - This is like a happy medium between the Owala and Stanley. It’s tall and narrow so it doesn’t feel like a bulky water bottle, but it only holds 24oz at a time. I like it for guests on hot summer days because it will keep their drink cold, isn’t glass or plastic in cases they’re picky, and doesn’t overwhelm them with a huge jug they feel obligated to finish. It comes in tons of colors and the straws are easy to clean.

BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle - The OG shaker bottle; you really don’t need anything fancy. Nutrition shops or gyms will sometimes hand them out for free, but I bought a set because I was sick of getting a leaky one and just wanted to simplify everything. This is probably the one instance I’ll recommend getting different colors, because it’s easier to match the lids and keep track of everything. As far as protein goes, this one is the highest quality I’ve found with minimal, clean ingredients; it blends well and tastes great if you only mix it with water, too.

carafes and jugs

48oz Large Glass Water Bottle with Bamboo Lid and Neoprene Sleeve - The perfect jug to keep on your nightstand for bedtime, this is huge and easy to clean; I like that the neoprene sleeve makes it easier to grip and also a little quieter, too. It comes with a strap and isn’t too heavy or bulky in case you want to take it on the go, but I really like it for my nightstand.

ARCANA Arc Water Bottle With Time Marker - If you want a lightweight water bottle that isn’t going to clang around like insulated tumblers, this is your new go-to. It comes in both 32oz and 52oz options, yet is really sleek and the frosted glass makes for an elevated look. These aren’t ideal if you want to keep your water icy all day, but I’ll bring it to a quiet yoga class or pilates. There is a time marker on the side to make sure you keep up with hydration all day, too.

Glass Carafe Pitchers with Lid (set of 3) - Our go-to juice pitchers; these are perfect. They’re thick and don’t chip, but also lightweight and easy to grip/ pour. We fill ours with orange juice, but I’ve also done fruit or mint infused water in the summer. The lids are a tight fit and don’t stretch out, even if you put them in the dishwasher, so I like these more than what I’ve found at places like HomeGoods in the past.
