The Best Gym Socks

One of my most important daily habits is working out, so I wanted to share my favorite gym socks that have become a staple in my closet. Finding the right pair of socks is something I’ve been researching over the last few months, as there’s nothing worse than when they stretch out or wear down too quickly, aren’t breathable, or require constant adjustment, getting in the way of a good workout. Socks shouldn’t cost a fortune, and I also wanted to find pairs that stayed soft and held their shape no matter how many times you washed them. I’ve tried everything from high-end stores to what I found in-person at my local Target, and finally found two different brands that have high-quality socks at a reasonable price point.

the best gym socks from amazon

I know Amazon can be hit or miss when it comes to clothing and accessories, but these socks are 100% worth it and I haven’t seen the quality dip across multiple orders that I’ve placed over the last year. They’re slightly high-rise and come in different colorways, although I stick to basic white since they go with everything. They’re also soft, lightly cushioned, don’t shed or pill, and hold their shape in the wash. You really can’t beat the price, especially if you’re wearing them every day.

While they don’t have grips at the bottom, these socks aren’t too slick or slippery so you’ll feel confident that your feet won’t slip when you’re lifting.

Sometimes they are out of stock, so I also like these which are very similar. The only differences is that they’re not as soft and don’t hit as high on the ankle. I do like that they say “no nonsense” across the top so if you’re lifting or working out in just socks, it’s kind of like extra motivation to give it your all haha.

If you’re looking for socks that have grips at the bottom, i love wearing these to my pilates classes.
