a little church

different kind of post today :) one of the things i love to see no matter where i am are churches - from the architecture and the stained glass to the history and energy you can just feel, nothing quite compares. these are a few photos from a mission-era church in san diego that’s been around since the 1800s. i think religion and faith is a whole parachute of a topic that isn’t necessarily best discussed over the internet, but i wanted to share these photos just because i like them and i think they can speak for themselves.

but before i go i will say that i’ve spent a lot of time exploring the churches here in philly, too, and they are just as beautiful and rich in history and you don’t have to be religious to appreciate it :) and you can find “church” anywhere - a beach, an empty park bench, in a conversation.. the list goes on ♥️
