balboa greenhouse

hi hope you are all having a good week :)

wanted to share these photos that morgan and i took last month at the balboa greenhouse. if you are not going to balboa every other month or so then you are not doing san diego right.. in my opinion ha. it is just so pretty and there’s always so much to see and do. a few weeks after we shot these photos my friend lizzie and i went to the science museum on a monday and hear me when i say we were livinggggg out best lives ha.

anyways - all of the photos of me were taken by morgan and then i took the plant photos. i can’t decide if i like taking photos or editing them more. i think playing with focus and doing little composition tricks is fun, but then when i go to edit it sometimes feels like a puzzle because there are times when you shoot in terrible conditions (like at night, or in artificial light) and you have to kind of correct things and make the vision in your head come to life.

not that i am a professional by any means. obviously.

and i am sure yall are sick of this smoky black and white situation that i use but i just love it so much.. like.. i am not moody but my photos are :) ha

i hope you enjoy scrolling through these - this was one of the more fun (funner?) blog posts i have put together in a while. probably photo overload but it happens 🤷🏻‍♀️
