i have been spending a lot of time redoing a lot of the backend of my website, and that’s why i have been a bit quiet and spacey with posts.
however today i am super excited to share this little photoset featuring one of my favorite brands, Vardagen. they are a small business that my friend savannah and i were introduced to when we were shopping on Abbot Kinney a few years ago, and it has been one of my favorites ever since.
i love their hoodies and tees but i also love wearing their long sleeves as dresses since they are oversized/ a men’s fit and i’m not that tall ha
i also recently interviewed Jared, the founder of Vardagen, for Truth Talks. we talked about what led him to start the brand, how he balances the creative with balance sheets, and most importantly, how even though they are a small brand themselves, Vardagen is donating 20% of its’ PNDMC Collection to out of work creatives.
at a time when so many things are uncertain for so many, particularly small business owners, i think it’s important to do what we can to help out and support each other. whether it’s by listening to a friend, shopping a small business, or just shouting them out on social media, every little bit counts.
