3 hair products i'm loving right now

hi i hope you are having a good week :) today i wanted to share a few hair products that i have been using and loving. usually i don’t do anything to my hair and i really try to keep it simple and low maintenance. my theory is that the less stuff my hair is dependent on, the better - i don’t know why but i mentally think of the 3oz TSA rule when it comes to all hair/ skin/ beauty products and never want to need so many different products that i have to eliminate half of my routine for travel purposes. which might not make any sense but ‘less is more’ is a nice rule to follow in general.

these three products have been game changers for me and they really are worth their value (and the space in my suitcase). i am slowly transitioning from buying things that look and smell nice to only investing in things that truly serve a purpose, so i hope you like these products as much as i do. and if you are obsessed with something that isn’t on my list, please share :) x

1. scalp revival shampoo by briogeo

this stuff is so good and totally worth the price because it lasts a really long time. i love that it is a clean beauty product, especially since it’s going directly onto your scalp. this shampoo is really minty without being too strong (it won’t make your eyes water). i love to use it when i have headaches or after a particularly long day.

order it here.

2. crystal angel by kevin murphy

a local hair stylist showed me this hair gloss. it truly makes your hair so soft and shiny- i do notice a difference when i use it. i don’t know exactly what the directions say but i will use it instead of my conditioner, or sometimes after. it is pricier but a little goes a long way. i also use the “young again” shampoo and conditioner from this brand from time to time, and prefer the scent of that duo to this gloss, which is a little powdery and not the most amazing. the link to buy this is through the local salon i mentioned; i don’t receive any commission whatsoever but i am sure a percentage goes to their salon. you can find it elsewhere but i recommend finding a verified retailer so you get the right stuff.

order it here.

3. silk hair scrunchies

so fancy and not like me haha but silk is a lot gentler on your skin and hair, which is why silk pillowcases are the way to go. i personally shower and wash my hair every night and then let my hair air dry. a friend showed me these and i have noticed a big difference - my flyaways aren’t as wild as they usually are. these come in a set, so you can always share with your friends too. or keep them all for yourself like me :) haha. and before you think i am getting too fancy.. i still use regular hair ties too. these are just a night/ wet hair treat :)

order them here.
