dpHUE ACV Rinse and Daily Scalp Serum Review
I’m always trying out new hair products and looking for the best, low-maintenance options that are truly worth the money. I’ve heard that using apple cider vinegar can be really good for your hair, and when I saw dpHue, a brand founded by celebrity stylist Justin Anderson, was running a sale, I decided to try two products from their ACV line, the Hair Rinse and Daily Scalp Serum.

how to use the dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse
Use this product in replacement of your shampoo.
Wet your scalp and then squeeze out the excess water.
Section your hair, and use the tip of the bottle to apply the product directly to your scalp.
Massage the product into your scalp, through your hair, and down to the ends.
Leave the product in for 1-3 minutes.
Rinse out.
I followed up with a hydrating mask, but you can also use your usual conditioner.
dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse Review
I used the dpHue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse weekly for a month. My hair felt clean without feeling stripped or dry, which some clarifying shampoos have done before. I also found that my color was noticeably brighter, and I felt like there was added volume after using this product. This product is lightweight enough for fine hair, and gentle enough for all hair types.
What sets this apart from the homemade treatments or diluting the apple cider vinegar you can get at grocery stores is that there was no lingering smell and this didn’t strip my color or dry out my scalp. This product is specifically formulated for your hair and to maintain hair health, and at $37 per bottle, it’s comparably priced to high-quality shampoos - shop it here. You can also buy a larger size for cheaper, and I like that it’s typically discounted on the dpHue website.
how to use the dpHUE ACV Daily Scalp Serum
You can apply this to damp or dry hair; I prefer damp hair.
Section your hair and apply the scalp serum evenly throughout your scalp using the dropper. I use about half a dropper, but you can use up to a full dropper.
Using your fingers, massage the product into your hair, focusing on the roots. It should absorb within a few minutes.
Do not rinse out.
Apply nightly (or daily/ in the mornings - up to you).
dpHUE ACV Daily Scalp Serum Review
I loved the ACV Daily Scalp Serum. The product is lightweight, fragrance free, and didn’t feel oily on my scalp. I was able to still style my hair without looking greasy. It absorbs quickly, and my scalp felt soothed right when I used it. Even if you have thin hair, this serum won’t weigh down your hair.
Within a month of using this product, I saw less shedding and felt like my hair grew faster. I also received compliments that my hair looked fuller, and even though my hair is color treated, it looked shinier and brighter.
The bottle retails for $49 and you can get it on the dpHUE website or at Ulta; the bottle lasted me one month of daily use, and I felt like it was definitely worth the price, especially since you can typically find it on sale or discounted through dpHUE’s subscription option.
